Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency is a condition in which the mother suffers from chronic (chronic) food shortages which results in health problems for the mother.  KEK can occur in women of childbearing age (WUS) and in pregnant women (pregnant women).  A person is said to be at risk of CED if LILA < 23.5 cm.  According to the World Health Organization (2010) also noted that 40% of maternal deaths in developing countries are related to anemia and KEK with the highest prevalence of these cases due to cases of Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) which can cause reduced nutritional status. This study aims to determine the relationship between consumption patterns and dietary restrictions on the risk of CED in pregnant women based on the Literatur. This study uses a literature review study approach by using several sources of journals or articles selected based on predetermined criteria The results of the literature analysis conducted by researchers based on a literature review of 10 journals found that consumption patterns and dietary restrictions were related to the risk of CED in pregnant women. The incidence of SEZ in pregnant women can be influenced by consumption patterns and dietary restrictions in pregnant women, which are caused by consumption patterns that are less than the nutritional needs that should be consumed by pregnant women and are also influenced by dietary restrictions according to the culture of each region
