Abstract

Latar Belakang: World Health Organization 2010 menyatakan prevalensi angka kematian ibu sebesar 287.000, salah satu faktor risikonya hipertensi dalam kehamilan.

Background: World Health Organization in 2010 stated that the prevalence of maternal mortality was 287,000, one of the risk factors for hypertension in pregnancy. HIP conditions have the possibility of progressively becoming severe pre-eclampsia, where one of the biomarkers used is uric acid levels in the blood.

Objective: Analyzing the relationship of uric acid levels in the blood with the incidence of severe pre-eclampsia.

Method: This analytic observational study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted in February 2022 to all pregnant women treated in the delivery room diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and severe pre-eclampsia according to inclusion-exclusion criteria after ethical testing.

Results: The results of the study according to the characteristics of the most age range from 20-35 years by 63.8%, the most parity characteristics being multiparous at 47.5%, the most educational characteristics from SMA 37.5%, the most job characteristics not working 77.5%, and the characteristics of high school grades. uric acid in the blood is uniformly normal and high by 50% each. The normality test for uric acid levels in the blood had a significance value of p=0.20 (normally distributed data) and a diagnosis of pre-eclampsia had a significance value of p=0.01 (data not normally distributed). homogeneous distribution). Chi-Square Test There was no significant relationship between blood uric acid levels and the incidence of severe pre-eclampsia with a significance value of p=1,000. The Mann Whitnney test has a statistically significant relationship of normal significance and the hypothesis H1 is accepted (p 0.01).

Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between uric acid levels in the blood and the incidence of severe preeclampsia.
