HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN SMARTPHONE DENGA EMOSIONAL PADA REMAJA: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Remaja adalah masa transisi dari masa anak-anak menuju masa dewasa yang ditandai adanya perubahan kognitif, biologis dan sosial-emosional. Remaja yang mengalami gangguan emosional berdampak pada tumbuh kembang dan kehidupan sehari-hari, misalnya anti sosial, gangguan kecemasan, gangguan perasaan dan depresi. Faktor penyebab gangguan emosional salah satunya adalah penggunaan smartphone.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang hubungan penggunaan smartphone dengan emosional pada remaja.

Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan systematic review, dalam pencarian literature bersumber dari empat database (BMC Psyciatri, Pubmed, ProQuest dan Science Direct), menggunakan kata kunci smartphone use AND emotional AND teenager.

Hasil: Penggunaan smartphone pada remaja setiap harinya lebih dari 4-6 jam sebanyak 6.155 remaja. Remaja akan mengalami kecanduan penggunaan smartphone. Penggunaan smartphone yang tinggi lebih banyak digunakan pada remaja perempuan (89,91%) daripada laki-laki (86,68%). Remaja perempuan mengalami gangguan emosional, seperti depresi (17,23%) akibat penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan.10 literatur yang ditemukan, ada sembilan jurnal yang menyatakan bahwa pengunaan smartphone berhubungan dengan emosional (p<0,001) remaja berhubungan dengan gangguan emosi negatif (p<0,001).

Simpulan: Penggunaan smartphone yang lebih dari 2 jam dalam sehari tanpa adanya pengontrolan orang tua akan mengakibatkan terjadinya kecanduan pada penggunaan smartphone dan gangguan emosional, seperti terjadinya kecemasan, regulasi emosi, perasaan negatif pada diri sendiri, permusuhan, kemarahan dan depresi. Adanya hubungan penggunaan smartphone dengan gangguan emosional pada remaja. Rekomendasi penting pengontrolan dari orang tua kepada remaja dalam penggunaan smartphone baiknya di rumah maupun di luar rumah.

 

Introduction: Teenager is transition from children to adult is characterized by cognitive change, biologic and social-emotional. Teenager who experience emotional disturbances have an impact on growth and development and children daily life, anti-social, anxiety disorders, feeling disorder and depression. One of the factors causing emotional disorder is smartphone use.

Aims: This study analyzes the relationship between smartphone use and emotional in adolescents.

Method: This research uses systematic review, in searching literature using for database (BMC Psyciatri, Pubmed, ProQuest and Science Direct) use keywords smartphone use AND emotional AND teenager.

Results: The use of smartphone in teenager every day for more that 4-6 hours as much 6.155 teenager. Teenager will experience addiction to using smartphone. The use of smartphone is more widely used in adolescent girls (89,91%) of the male (86,68%). Teenager girl experiencing emotional disturbance, as depression (17,23%) due to excessive use of smartphone. From 10 literatur found, there are nine journal that state that smartphone use is associated with emotional disturbances (p<0,001) teenager,  with negative emotional disorders (p<0,001).

Conclusions: Use of a smartphone that is used more that two hours a day with parental control will result in addiction to smartphone usage and emotional disturbance, like the occurrence of anxiety, emotional regulation, negative feelings to yourself, hostility, anger and depression. The relationship between smartphone use and emotional disturbances in teenager. Important recommendations for controlling parents to teenager in using smartphone both at home nor outside the home
