Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is giving breast milk (ASI) to babies without giving additional food and complementary drinks from birth to 6 months of age. After the baby is 6 months old, additional food can be given to complement breast milk while still recommending breastfeeding until the baby is 2 years old. The lack of knowledge of breastfeeding mothers and pregnant mothers about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and breast care has influenced the failure to achieve exclusive breastfeeding and the large number of incidents of giving MPASI to babies under 6 months of age in the working area of ​​the Basarang Community Health Center, especially Maluen Village. The aim of this activity is that it is hoped that it can increase the knowledge and awareness of breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and breast care so that breast milk production runs smoothly so that exclusive breastfeeding can run smoothly, as well as being able to implement it in accordance with the guidelines with the activity theme "Smooth Breastfeeding Thanks Crocodiles (Papaya Fruit) in the Basarang Community Health Center Working Area, Kapuas Regency. The targets for this activity are breastfeeding mothers and pregnant mothers in the Basarang Community Health Center working area.
