Background: Based on preliminary studies conducted by the Balangan District Health Office in the village of Sirap, which is part of the Juai Community Health Center's working area, the stunting rate was 31.7% in 2024.
Objective: To reduce the number of stunted infants in Sirap Village by 2025, in line with the district's target reduction of 13.24% by 2024.
Method: The activity was conducted in February 2025 at the Sirap Village Hall. Community service was carried out through information dissemination via an educational session on February 4, 2025, at 9:00 AM WITA, using methods such as lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and question-and-answer sessions with the community.
Results: Increased awareness and knowledge in monitoring and preventing stunting, evidenced by pregnant women and mothers of infants being more active in preventing stunting.
Conclusion: After receiving counseling through the pocket guide, the post-test results showed an improvement.
