EDUCATION OF HYPERTENSION DRUG USE IN POST DISASTER COMMUNITIES IN BARU VILLAGE, BATU BENAWA DISTRICT

The consumption pattern of hypertension drugs in Baru Village, Batu Benawa District after the flood disaster has increased. One of the factors thought to play a role in increasing the treatment of hypertension is the presence of psychosocial triggers that can increase the patient's blood pressure. Hypertension is a disease that requires long-term treatment for controlled blood pressure. Unfortunately, many people still do not understand well the procedures for obtaining, using, storing, and disposing of hypertension drugs. This is the goal of this activity, which is to provide education about hypertension and hypertension drug management in order to increase patient compliance in hypertension treatment, as well as the proper use of hypertension medication. This activity takes place in stages, starting with a study of drug consumption patterns at the nearest health facility, surveys or preliminary studies in the community using questionnaires and interviews, to educational activities. The result of this education is an increase in all aspects of education to 100%, both general knowledge related to hypertension, to getting, using, storing, and disposing (DAGUSIBU) hypertension drugs.
