Abstract

 The low rate of achieving exclusive breastfeeding certainly needs attention because it contributes to the low quality of human resources in the future and also has an impact on high morbidity and mortality rates. However, this is closely related to the not optimal exclusive breastfeeding by breastfeeding mothers caused by several factors that influence the success of exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 0-6 months such as mother's education, mother's knowledge, mother's attitude, mother's occupation, exposure to information media, role of health workers, husbands, and families. Therefore, the need for education on exclusive breastfeeding which is important during the period of growth and development of infants. The purpose of implementing this activity is to increase mothers' insights about exclusive breastfeeding and increase mothers' insights about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding. activities in the form of providing education about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding in collaboration with village midwives, midwives holding the postpartum program. Then proceed with carrying out online activities through a zoom meeting with the postpartum mother. After the activity is completed, an evaluation of the results of the activities that have been carried out is carried out. The promotional media used in this activity were leaflets and educational pocket books containing the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and breast care so participants could practice them at home. This activity was held from 22 July to 06 August 2022 with 15 postpartum mothers participating. With this activity it can make a significant contribution to increasing health information for mothers who have babies, creating awareness for mothers who have babies about the importance of giving exclusive breastfeeding properly and correctly.
