P Pengoptimalisasi Pengggunaan Buku Kia Pada Era Digital Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kandui

Abstract

The KIA Handbook is an important communication tool and information media for health workers, pregnant women, families and the community which functions as a tool to find out the health status of pregnant women, documentation, early detection, risks, counseling and to monitor the growth and development of toddlers. Providing KIA books can increase knowledge and understanding of mothers regarding maternal and child health so that mothers can detect early maternal and child health. The purpose of implementing the activity is to take advantage of the digital era through animated videos in optimizing the use of KIA books in the working area of the Kandui Public Health Center, Kandui Village. The activity was carried out in the class of pregnant women at the Kandui Public Health Center. The target of the activity is all pregnant women who attend classes for pregnant women in the working area of the Kandui Public Health Center. The media used for delivering counseling materials are LCDs and laptops for displaying counseling media, leaflets and xbanners as well as educational materials in the form of power points and animated videos. In conclusion, this PKM activity has resulted in optimizing the KIA Handbook in the digital era in the form of a video explaining the KIA book and supported by the media using leaflets and xbanners. This media has had a very good impact by changing the knowledge of pregnant women about the KIA handbook. This activity can be continued by monitoring the optimization of the KIA handbook in the community during the mother's period as a postpartum mother, the growth and development of infants and toddlers.
