Abstract

Background: WHO report for 2017 MMR in the world is 478,000 people (WHO, 2017). According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2017) MMR in Indonesia in 2016 was around 306 people per 100,000, while the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office in 2017 recorded cases of maternal and child deaths, there were 92 cases of maternal deaths, while there were 811 cases of infant deaths. A preliminary study conducted by researchers on December 11 2022 at RSIA Paradise obtained data on the incidence of incomplete abortion in January 2019-December 2019 as many as 62 people, January 2020-December 2020 as many as 68 people.


Objective: To analyze the incidence of incomplete abortion rates at RSIA Paradise, Tanah Bumbu Regency. 


Methods: The research method used is an analytical survey using case control with a retrospective approach. Sampling used a 1:2 ratio for a case sample of 75 people using total sampling and for a control sample of 175 people using Simple Random Sampling, data analysis using Chi Square.


Result: The results of the study showed that 117 people were not at risk and did not have incomplete abortions, 91 people were at risk parity and did not have incomplete abortions, and 109 people did not have incomplete abortions at risk.
