Abstract
Background: Infertility is the inability of a couple to achieve a pregnancy even though they have routinely had sexual intercourse without using contraception for 12 months or more. The results of the Population Census (SP2020) in September 2020 recorded a population of 270.20 million people. The number of residents as a result of the SP2020 increased by 32.56 million compared to the results of the SP2010. Based on data from the Indonesian In Vitro Fertilization Association (Perfitri) in 2017, there were 1,712 men and 2,055 women who experienced infertility. In 2020 there were 96 infertile women who visited the Sari Mulia Specialist Clinic, Banjarmasin.
Objective: To find out what risk factors are associated with the incidence of infertility in women at the Sari Mulia Specialist Clinic, Banjarmasin
Methods: This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study is infertile women who visit the Sari Mulia Specialist Clinic, Banjarmasin.
Results: The number of respondents who had their fertility checked was 63 people (65.6%) in the age category not at risk of 20-35 years. The results of the identification of ovarian cysts at the Sari Mulia Specialist Clinic, Banjarmasin, the number of respondents who had their fertility checked was 28 people (29.7%). ) Female respondents suffer from ovarian cysts. 13 people (13.4%) female respondents suffer from myoma 10 people (10.4%) female respondents suffer from tubal disorders. 46 people (47.9%) fall into the category of ovulation disorders (PCOS)
Conclusion: Age, Occupation, Reproductive Organ Disorders and Ovulation Disorders are risk factors for infertility in women
