Dietary Analysis Of The Incidence Of Stunting In Toddlers at The UPT Area Of Alabio Inpatient Health Center Analisis Pola Makan Terhadap Kejadian Stunting Pada Balita Di Wilayah UPT Puskesmas Rawat Inap Alabio

Abstract
Background: One of the nutritional problems often experienced by toddlers is short or commonly called stunting. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake for a long time due to feeding that is not in accordance with nutritional needs. Many factors cause the high incidence of stunting in toddlers, one of which is the lack of food intake associated with diet.
Objective : Analyzing the relationship between diet and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the UPT Puskesmas Inpatient Alabio area.
Methods: The method used is descriptive research analysis with a cross sectional design. Data collection instruments using questionnaires. There were 72 samples taken by propsive sampling technique. Analyze data using Chi-Square.
Results: The results of the study found 29 people (40.3%) with improper feeding patterns and 43 people (59.7%) with proper feeding patterns. There were 13 people (18.1%) who were stunted and 59 people (81.9%) who were not stunted. There is no relationship between feeding patterns and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the UPT Alabio Inpatient Health Center Area in 2023 with a value of ρ = 0.883 > a value of α = 0.05.
Conclusion: There is no relationship between feeding patterns and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the UPT Alabio Inpatient Health Center Area in 2023.
