I Improving Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) in Abumbun Jaya Village, Sungai Tabuk Kabupaten Banjar

Abstract

Health problems often arise in society without the cause being realized or known. This happens because of the low level of public knowledge about health in the community. Creating families that apply clean and healthy living habits is the primary target of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). Ambbun Jaya Village is one of the villages located in Sungai Tabuk District. . Aumbun Jaya Village consists of 3 RTs which are quite large and densely occupied. Aumbun Jaya Village is a village where the majority of the population are people from the island of Java who previously participated in the transmigration program. Health problems that often arise include high maternal and child mortality rates, poor nutrition, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and unhealthy lifestyles. The government has long implemented a Clean and Healthy Living Behavior Program as a family structure through health promotion activities, but the results have not been optimal enough. The aim of community service activities is to increase public awareness of the importance of healthy living behavior in a family setting. The method of activities carried out in Abumbun Jaya Village is carried out at the Village Hall, namely by carrying out outreach activities about PHBS. The result of this community service activity is increased awareness of the community, especially pregnant women, such as preparation in health facilities and assistance from health workers, the importance of regular exercise such as pregnancy exercise, eating fruit and vegetables during pregnancy, bringing babies and toddlers to the posyandu and the importance of using a toilet healthy.
