Abstract

Immunization can prevent death each year in all age groups from diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and measles. Immunization can prevent about two to 3 million deaths each year. However, about 19.4 million babies in the world still miss complete basic immunization. Basic immunization services in Balangan District, South Kalimantan Province, in 2023 decreased somewhat when compared to the previous year which could reach 81.0%, while in 2021 it was only 79.7% (Balangan District Health Office, 2021). Based on a preliminary study conducted at the Awayan Health Center, Balangan Regency, it was found that the Immunization coverage at the Awayan Health Center for 2023 until October is 53.46% with 23 villages and the lowest village with Complete Basic Immunization (IDL) coverage is Ambakiang village with 14 infants  and those who have been given complete basic immunization amounted to 5 people (22.22%). Through GEMADARATTITUDE (Complete Basic Immunization Awareness Mama Movement) activities, namely providing education to mothers who have babies 0-12 months in Ambakiang Village, the working area of the Awayan Health Center with a target of 14 people. The output of this program is increased knowledge of mothers of infants 0-12 months and a complete basic immunization pocketbook for mothers of infants 0-12 months.
