Abstract

The maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Indonesia is still high. Health conditions during pregnancy are one of the determinants of maternal mortality during pregnancy and childbirth. High-risk pregnancies are pregnancies that may cause the mother and baby to become ill or die before the birth takes place. A well-trained cadre is one of the efforts to be able to understand and solve the health problems of pregnant women. The method applied in this activity is Patwal Risti through Cadre Empowerment by training posyandu cadres in conducting early detection of high-risk pregnancies using the Poedji Rochyati Score Card (KSPR) and MCH Book through lectures, discussions and hands-on practice. The material was delivered through power point, accompanied by the distribution of leflets and cadre pocket books. There were 5 cadres trained and the training was conducted over 2 days. The results of the activity found that there was an increase in knowledge of Risti Patrol cadres by 50%. Statistical results showed that the average cadre knowledge score before training was 32, then increased to 82 after cadre training.
