Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children (body and brain growth) due to malnutrition for a long time. The Bati-Bati Community Health Center has a program to overcome stunting in the form of providing local PMT, assisting families with weight faltering problems, chronic diseases and visiting babies under five with nutritional problems, but the stunting rate in Banua Raya Village, the Bati-Bati Community Health Center Working Area, is quite high. The stunting rate in the Bati-Bati Health Center UPT working area is 47 children under five (14.68%) above the Indonesian stunting target rate of 14%. Based on this, it is important to increase knowledge and understanding regarding stunting prevention through health education in an effort to prevent stunting in the community. One form of effort that will be implemented in Banua Raya Village, Bati-Bati Health Center Working Area, is education on feeding children, especially those aged 0-24 months. The educational method used is cooperative learning using poster media. The results of the activity show an increase in parents' knowledge of age-appropriate food consumption for children with poster content regarding types of food, shapes and portions for children according to age. The evaluation results of parents with toddlers show that they feel helped by this activity and hope that activities like this will continue
