P Patwal Bu Risti (Monitor and Escort Pregnant Women Risti) Through the Role of Husbands in Monitoring High Risk Pregnant Women in Halong Village

Abstract

Background : In modern society there is an understanding of Potential Risk, where a pregnancy and childbirth can always lead to the possibility of a low risk or a high risk of death. Education about high risks in pregnancy is a method and effort to increase knowledge about high risks in pregnancy, prevention and management of complications that will occur.Purpose : To increase the role of husbands in monitoring and guarding high-risk pregnant women.Methods : Providing education to husbands about high-risk pregnancies and the roles that husbands can take. Activities include lectures and questions and answers, using leaflets and pocket books.Results : Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it was found that there was an increase in the husband's knowledge before being given counseling and after being given counseling.Conclusion This activity is effective in increasing husbands' knowledge about the risks of pregnancy and it is hoped that it can also increase awareness and participation of husbands in monitoring and guarding high-risk pregnant women.
