Abstract

One of the nutritional problems faced in Indonesia is the problem of pregnancy nutrition. Chronic energy deficiency (CED) is one of the nutritional problems that occurs in pregnant women. CED is a condition of insufficient energy and protein intake in women of childbearing age (WUS) which occurs continuously and results in health problems. One of the impacts that pregnant women can experience if their nutritional intake is insufficient is that they will experience CED as seen based on upper arm circumference (LILA) measurements. LILA measurement is an anthropometric measurement to determine whether a pregnant woman is suffering from CED or not. This community service activity is in the form of an initiation activity to create a list of cheap and nutritious weekly meals to overcome chronic energy deficiency (CED) for pregnant women. With a weekly food list guide that is cheap and nutritious, pregnant women can cook and fulfill their nutrition for the health of their pregnancy. The weekly food list is created taking into account nutritional value at the lowest possible price. Possible causes of CED are food intake that does not meet needs, the pregnant woman's age is too young, and activities are too heavy, as well as economic factors. The weekly food list is compiled and then printed and distributed to pregnant women who check their pregnancies at community health centers and posyandu.
