Abstract

MCH is a type of service that covers maternal and child health. The aim is to reduce maternal, infant and child mortality and morbidity by improving the health of mothers and children. The benefit of MCH guidelines in general is that mothers and children have complete health records, from the time the mother is pregnant until the child is five years old. To support monitoring and evaluation of maternal and child health programs, regular recording and reporting of program implementation is required. The method of service activities is in the form of education/counseling activities to health workers, cadres, pregnant/breastfeeding mothers about the use of M-KIA. This program uses a leaflet guiding the use of M-KIA. The conclusion of this program is that the M-KIA use guide leaflet is used. Based on discussions between health workers and cadres, they jointly studied the M-KIA application, so that it could be tested in the community. Based on the trial use of M-KIA, efforts were made to create a leaflet guiding the use of M-KIA, then carry out outreach/education. The weakness of this application is that health workers do not have centralized data recaps at the Community Health Center.
