Abstract

Anemia is a major nutritional problem for all age groups with the highest prevalence in pregnant women. In pregnancy, anemia occurs relatively often because pregnant women experience hemodilution with an increase in volume of 30% to 40%, which peaks at 32 to 34 weeks of pregnancy At the Tapin Utara Health Center, data on anemia in pregnant women in 2022 was 51 people (11.8%) and data in 2023 was 48 people (10.8%). Cases of anemia in pregnancy can actually be prevented through effective activities such as examinations. sustainable pregnancy among health workers, providing adequate nutrition, increasing maternal knowledge about the dangers of anemia in pregnancy, regular administration and consumption of Fe tablets, etc. (Rismawati & Rohmatin, 2018). The method used to prevent and treat anemia in pregnant women is the "Peta Tapin" activity (counseling about danger signs and prevention of anemia in pregnant women) involving the participation of husbands/families and existing health cadres to increase knowledge and motivate pregnant women in prevention. anemia as measured by pre-post test. From the outreach activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the "Peta Tapin" activity can increase the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women and companions (husbands/families) regarding the importance of preventing and treating anemia during pregnancy.
