Abstract

In Indonesia, COVID-19 was first reported on March 2, 2020, with two initial cases. The number continues to increase over time, including in the city of Palembang, with an increase in cases per day reaching 800 cases. The correct knowledge, attitude, and behavior towards controlling the pandemic is the key to handling the transmission. This community service aims to describe the community's knowledge, attitudes, and behavior towards the prevention of COVID-19 in the city of Palembang. Community service in the form of health promotion. The population is residents of RT 69 RW 03, Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat 1 District, Palembang City. A sample of 125 respondents was obtained through google form and analyzed univariately. The results obtained are as many as 36.8% of respondents are aged 17-25 years, 58.4% are female, 68.8% have a college education level or equivalent, and 23.2% are students. Most of the respondents have good knowledge about prevention (92%), positive attitude (98.4%) and good behavior (93.6%) towards COVID-19 prevention. The conclusion that was determined was that one hundred twenty-five respondents from Bukit Lama Village had good knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards COVID-19 prevention.
