IMPLEMENTATION OF BRAIN GYM ACTIVITIES FOR EARLY CHILDREN IN TK PEMBINA INTI BANJARMASIN

Abstract

Learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic were carried out face-to-face but still limited the number of students attending school. The challenges faced by teachers during the teaching and learning process in this pandemic condition are that many students forget the previous lesson, some students experience boredom and are less interested in participating in learning so that it affects their concentration and attention during the learning process. The purpose of implementing the Community Partnership Program is to improve the skills of TK Inti Pembina students in implementing the brain gym and applying it in the learning process. The partnership program provided to partners is brain gym training and mentoring for teachers and students. The method used in this service program is through socialization, training and brain gym assistance to students and teachers as well as monitoring the evaluation of activities. The conclusion of this service activity is that there is an increase in student skills in carrying out the brain gym and this brain gym has been applied by teachers and students in the learning process. There is an increase in children's concentration after being given this brain gym based on the results of interviews with teachers.
