Abstrak

The world is currently facing a pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavirus) and its infection called COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has also caused problems in meeting the needs of health services, especially maternal and neonatal health services. During the postpartum period, a mother undergoes a process of adaptation, both physiological and psychological adaptation. The use of various types of plants as medicinal ingredients has a long history in various ethnic groups in Indonesia from generation to generation. The use of plants as medicinal ingredients relies on the content of bioactive compounds produced by plant cells. Traditional medicine is medicine that is processed simply based on ancestral recipes that have become local customs, beliefs or habits. Based on this, it is necessary to educate the public, especially women, regarding the use of herbal plants for women during the Pandemic Period. The method used in this activity is the presentation of discussion material and questions and answers, feedback which is carried out online with the target of women. The result of this activity is that women can find out how to increase their immunity during a pandemic by using herbal plants. A healthy society begins with an independent society, which is aware of the health needs. The postpartum is a period of return of the reproductive organs to their pre-pregnancy state within six weeks after childbirth. During the postpartum period, a mother undergoes an adaptation process, both physiological and psychological adaptations. During the Covid 19 pandemic, the government provided complementary therapies that could be applied during the postpartum period. The use of various types of plants as medicinal materials has a long history in various ethnicities in Indonesia for generations. The usefulness of plants as medicinal materials rests on the content of bioactive compounds produced by plant cells. Traditional medicine is medicine that is processed simply based on ancestral recipes that have become local customs, beliefs or habits. Traditional knowledge of the community about the properties and uses of medicinal plants can provide valuable information in selecting and obtaining medicinal plant raw materials
