Implementation of the First 1000 Days of Life (Hpk) as Stunting Prevention in Toddlers in the Pudi Health Center Working Area, Kotabaru Regency

Abstract
Background : The First 1000 Days of Life period consists of 270 days during pregnancy and the first 730 days of life since a baby is born is a golden period. This period is also a period of concern in the National Movement for Nutrition Awareness Program in the Context of Accelerating Nutritional Improvement in the First 1000 Days of Life (1000 HPK).
Objective : Knowing the implementation of the first 1000 days of life as a stunting prevention in toddlers in the working area of the Pudi Public Health Center, Kotabaru District.
Methods : This research uses descriptive method. Samples were taken as many as 30 mothers who were under five and by accidental sampling technique.Result : 15 mothers who made routine and non-routine ANC visits each (50%). 23 children (76.7%) who were not given IMD. , the category of toddlers who were not given exclusive breastfeeding was 20 people (66.7%). category of toddlers who were not given MP ASI at the age of 6 months as many as 21 people (70%).Conclusion : the target of the 1000 HPK program is expected to realize the importance of fulfilling nutrition for pregnant women, infants and toddlers.Keywords : Stunting, First 1000 Days of Life
